On Wednesday, 31 May, at about 7am, a white VW Polo crashed into a male pedestrian and overturned on Town Road and Samuel Road in Ennerdale.
Both the male driver and pedestrian sustained serious injuries and were taken to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for treatment.
Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) operations officers attended to the scene.
“The cause of the accident has not yet been determined, a case of Reckless and Negligent Driving has been opened at Ennerdale SAPS for further investigation,” JMPD spokesperson, Xolani Fihla told GLOBE POST.
