PA set to host Youth Day Soccer Tournament in Ennerdale

The Patriotic Alliance (PA) will host a 7-A-Side soccer tournament at the Ennerdale Ext 1 Stadium from Friday, 16 June to Sunday, 18 June.

The tournament is part of a broader initiative to create a platform for young people to learn about their history and how they can contribute towards building a better future for themselves and their communities.

“By hosting the tournament on youth day, we are taking another step towards creating awareness among youths to partake in current affairs,” PA’s Johannesburg Regional Chairperson, Lois Simonse told GLOBE POST.

A number of activities such as car shows, face paintings, jumping castles and more will run throughout the weekend.

“As we commemorate the youths of the past, let us not forget that today’s youths are tomorrow’s leaders. Therefore, we must equip them with knowledge, skills and values necessary for nation building. Let us all come together in unity and continue working towards building a better South Africa for generations to come,” Simonse added.
