Established on 31 March, Mathapelo and Mamello Feeding Scheme Project is a Non-Profit Organisation aiming to provide meals to school kids, pensioners and people with disability in Finetown.

The feeding scheme with 4 members and 3 volunteers currently provides meals to approximately 580 children, 26 pensioners and 15 persons living with disabilities at its centre on 3627 Finetown Block 5, every Friday between 1 and 3pm and on Saturdays between 3 and 5pm.
Speaking to GLOBE POST, Mathapelo and Mamello Feeding Scheme Project’s chairperson, Tsidiso Sepheko, said: “The project’s reach is increasing and our pockets are getting empty since we fund it ourselves, we are in dire need of sponsorship. We are optimistic that with suport from the community, business, organisations and well-wishers, our goal of providing wholesome meals to needy members of our community can be achieved. I plead with members of the public to please assist us in any way so that we can continue with our work.”
