After a long hiatus, the Deep South Local Football Association (DSLFA) Senior Men’s League opening tournament is set to return for the 2026/2027 season.
Seventeen teams from across the region will compete, assess their squads and build momentum ahead of the official league kicking off on 26 September. The opening tournament will take place on 12-13 September and 19-20 September at Ennerdale Extension 1 Stadium, where all games will be played.
The league will feature a two-round competition, giving the participating teams opportunities to compete for valuable points throughout the season. This season is expected to be significant for the DSLFA as the association continues to strengthen its league structures and provide a competitive platform for senior players within the local community.
Ennerdalians FC will be looking to defend their title with new rivals also coming in to make their mark.
