Planned power interruption in Lenasia South on 10 December, City Power announces

City Power Johannesburg has announced a planned power interruption for the Lenasia South Substation, scheduled for Tuesday, 10 December. The power outage is set to occur between 08:00 and 16:00, impacting several areas in Region G.

Affected suburbs:

Civic Centre and Clinic

Hospital Hill

Lenasia South Ext 1 and 2

Parts of Lenasia South Ext 4

The interruption is necessary to carry out essential maintenance work on the electrical network, as part of City Power’s ongoing efforts to improve service delivery.

Residents are advised to treat all electricity supply points as live during the outage, as power may be restored at any time without prior notice.

City Power acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the community’s understanding and cooperation.For further information or assistance, customers are encouraged to contact the City Power Call Centre at 011 490 7484 or the toll-free number 0800 202 925.
