Aqeela Snyder, a bright 10-year-old girl from Bosmont, has been facing unimaginable challenges since birth. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Aqeela has severe mobility issues, making it impossible for her to walk, dress, bathe, or use the toilet on her own. She is entirely dependent on her elderly grandparents, Faried and Yasmin Snyders, who have lovingly cared for her since she was born. Aqeela’s mother tragically passed away during childbirth, leaving her grandparents to take on the immense responsibility of raising her despite their own health and financial limitations.

Due to her condition, Aqeela requires assistance from two adults for transfers and everyday tasks. Over the years, her condition has worsened, and she has become completely homebound, unable to attend school, visit parks, or engage with her peers. Aqeela’s only means of mobility was a buggy wheelchair, but she has outgrown it. For the past four years, she has been without any proper mobility aid, severely limiting her ability to attend school or access the outdoors.

Her grandparents, both pensioners, have been struggling to make ends meet, with no support from promised assistance. Despite their tireless efforts, they are unable to provide Aqeela with the specialized equipment she needs to improve her quality of life. They are now reaching out to the community for help, asking for assistance in securing a new buggy wheelchair for Aqeela.

The Urgent Need for a New Wheelchair

Aqeela’s condition requires specialized equipment to support her mobility. According to C E Mobility, a new buggy wheelchair will allow Aqeela to independently access her home, school, and community. The chair is designed to meet her specific needs, enabling her to move through tight spaces, participate in outdoor activities, and interact more freely with her environment.

Without this essential mobility aid, Aqeela is at risk of further physical complications, including spinal deformities, decreased bone density, and reduced respiratory function. Aqeela’s grandparents are hopeful that with the community’s help, she can regain her independence and experience the joys of childhood that many take for granted.

How You Can Help

Aqeela’s family is humbly appealing for assistance to help her get the wheelchair she desperately needs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in Aqeela’s life. By supporting this cause, you will be helping her regain her freedom and giving her a chance to lead a more fulfilling life.
