The SAPS in Eldorado Park swiftly arrested five suspects, aged 17 and 18, on Saturday, 17 August, for armed robbery and possession of suspected stolen goods.
The suspects had held an e-hailing driver at gunpoint, stealing his cellphone, cash and bank cards. Their reckless actions caught up with them when police, acting quickly, apprehended them at a local tavern where they were brazenly using the victim’s bank card to buy liquor.
