Help Daxina’s Zuraidah grab opportunity of a lifetime

Sixteen-year-old Lenasia South archer, Zuraidah Allie, a matric learner at Lotus School of Excellence seeks your support to raise funds to cover costs for her trip to an international archery tournament – the AGA Federation Championships – set to take place in July in Limpopo.

Zuraidah, a member of the Ekurhuleni Provincial Team is ranked number two development archer in the Africa Genesis Archery South Africa (AGA-SA) development team and looks forward to facing teams from Botswana, Canada, Namibia and Zimbabwe. 

“Zuraidah is a very talented young lady and earned her place in the national development team over the last few years through hardwork and countless hours of training. We appeal to readers to help her attend this once in a lifetime opportunity. The estimated cost will be about R10 000. She has the chance to rank number one in the South African development team and this achievement will open more opportunities for her,” Zuraidah’s coach, Jitesh Patel from Mkulu Archery Club told GLOBE POST.

Since the beginning of AGA Federation Championships in 2014, South Africa has been the undisputed African Champions and with the USA not competing, they are the current AGA World Champions.
