Breaking: Man shot in broad daylight in Lenasia South

An Indian man was fatally shot at point-blank range while seated in the driver’s seat of his red Fiat at the corner of Ivy and Lark streets in Lenasia South Ext1 this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:06 AM. According to an eyewitness, the shooter, described as a short black man, approached the vehicle and opened fire multiple times before fleeing on foot.

Moments later, the suspect was seen being picked up by a silver VW Polo, which served as a getaway vehicle.No registration numbers were recorded.

Authorities have cordoned off the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Further details have not yet been released.
