This week, Globe Post Weekly Snapshot Issue 13 celebrates a morning of financial empowerment, meaningful conversations and community connection at the Tea, Talks & Money Matters session held at the Lenasia South Civic Centre.
Hosted by Xenor Projects and Globe Post in collaboration with the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (ASISA) and the Association of Independent Publishers (AIP), the event brought senior citizens together to learn practical ways to manage their money and plan for a more secure future.
ASISA facilitator Linda Kobua led an engaging session covering budgeting, saving, insurance, investments and the important difference between needs and wants. ASISA CEO Kaizer Moyane also showed his support for grassroots financial education.
The morning was not only informative, but filled with energy, dance, good food, interactive activities, competitions and exciting prize giveaways. Guests were encouraged to make informed financial decisions that can build long-term security and confidence.
Globe Post also extends its gratitude to the Lenasia South Senior Citizens Club, event partners and sponsors who helped make the day memorable and impactful.
