This week, Globe Post Weekly Snapshot Issue 15 brings you another roundup of the stories shaping our communities, from crime and service delivery challenges to exciting developments at Globe Post.

In this issue, Operation Shanela II takes centre stage following intensified policing operations in Lenasia and Ennerdale, while JMPD officers also tracked down two suspects wanted in connection with attempted hijacking and attempted murder charges in Lawley.

We also turn the spotlight on the ongoing challenges facing residents. Lenasia South continues to grapple with water cuts and major leaks, while communities are dealing with piles of uncollected rubbish as Pikitup works to clear its waste collection backlog.

There’s also something exciting brewing at Globe Post Social! Our podcast studio is taking shape, with cameras soon set to roll as we prepare to bring you engaging local conversations and voices from within our communities.

And as Women’s Month continues, we’re celebrating the incredible women making a difference in their communities and giving them an opportunity to share their stories and step into the spotlight.

Local news. Real stories. Your community. Every week.
