A suspect has been arrested following a business robbery in Ennerdale during which the victim’s vehicle was stolen.
In a statement, Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) said its Tactical Response Unit (TRU) acted swiftly on the case, launching a follow-up investigation that led them to Alexandra where they successfully recovered the stolen vehicle at a residence in the area.
At the property, they also found the alleged suspect’s girlfriend. JMPD said: “Upon questioning, the girlfriend indicated that her partner had parked the vehicle at the property. She then led the officers to the suspect’s place in Lenasia.”
Officers then proceeded to the identified address where the suspect was found at the premises. He was arrested for armed robbery & detained at Lenasia SAPS.
