The Miss Finetown pageant wrapped up its seven-month journey with a community-focused finale, marked by a Heritage Month charity event at the Zenzele Counselling Project on 27 September.
Contestants prepared traditional meals for children in need and for those eager to celebrate South Africa’s rich cultural heritage. This special event was part of the closing activities leading up to the final crowning ceremony on 1 October.
Shantel Sibanda shared: “This was truly one of the most nostalgic and heartwarming moments for us as Miss Fine Town. We deeply appreciate the Zenzele Counselling Project for partnering with us in this initiative.”
Launched earlier this year, the Miss Fine Town pageant has aimed to combine beauty, talent, and community service, with charity work as a central pillar of the journey.
Looking ahead, Sibanda added: “We hope to secure sponsors to expand this initiative next year. We’re committed to doing more for our community and making a bigger impact.”
The initiative has been warmly welcomed by the Fine Town community as a shining example of young leaders promoting culture, service, and unity during South Africa’s Heritage Month.
