The highly anticipated Mr & Miss Ennerdale 2025 pageant will be held on Saturday, 8 November, at the Extension 9 Civic Centre Hall in Katz Street. This year’s event, themed “Beauty Without Borders,” continues a tradition of empowering young men and women to grow in confidence, discipline and leadership while celebrating their talent and individuality.
Now in its 32nd year, the pageant remains one of Ennerdale’s most significant youth development initiatives. It provides a platform for young people aged 6 to 30 to showcase not only their beauty but also their ability to inspire and influence positive change in the community.
Cerrol Louw, organiser and representative of Bacufa S.A, told GLOBE POST: “Our vision is to create ambassadors who will inspire and drive positive change in our community. The pageant is more than a crown – it’s about building confidence, self-discipline and hope for young people while helping eliminate social ills in our area.”
This year, 20 contestants will compete for the coveted titles of Mr and Miss Ennerdale. The event will also mark 32 years of crowning young leaders who have gone on to make a difference in their communities.
The evening will begin with a red carpet reception at 18:00, followed by the main event at 19:00. Tickets are priced at R100 for adults with pre-sold tickets (R120 at the door) and R50 for children with tickets (R70 at the door). Tickets are available from the contestants.
Several local businesses and organisations have partnered to support the event, including Bacufa S.A, Siz Catering and Event Management, This Is Rara, Ennerdale Bulletin, Beauty Enhancements by Ursie, Luce Automotive Services, Chihungo African Clothing Designs, Modupe Designs, JA Foen Logistics, Fifth Ave Bridal Boutique and Skoonbroers Biltong.
