The Lenasia Table Tennis Association (LTTA) proudly announces that Danisha Patel will represent South Africa at the prestigious International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) World Table Tennis Championships, taking place in Doha from 17 to 25 May.
Danisha, both a seasoned player and coach, has demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill throughout her career. With over a decade of national and international experience, she continues to be a shining example of excellence in South African table tennis.
LTTA Chairperson Vikash Kasan, said: “As the LTTA, we are incredibly proud of Danisha’s achievements. We’ve witnessed her unwavering commitment, passion and relentless training. She is an inspiration to our community and a true ambassador for the sport.”
Vikash added: “As you take on this incredible challenge, know that we’re behind you every step of the way. May your serves be sharp, your shots unstoppable, and your spirit unshakable.”
Speaking ahead of her departure, Danisha shared her thoughts: “I am nervous and excited. I know what I’m getting myself into. So the plan is to just prepare well and play as hard as I can – but also to enjoy,” she said.
