The South African Council of Churches (SACC) in Limpopo says a farmer and his two employees accused of shooting and killing two women should not be granted bail. The bodies of the women were dumped in a pigsty. One person was wounded.

The accused Zacharia Oliver, Rudolph de Wet and William Musora were arrested after the bodies of the two women were discovered on a farm in Sebayeng outside Polokwane.

The SACC leader Regina Farisani spoke outside the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court where the accused are appearing.

“How often have these racists been feeding human flesh to the pigs, that’s a big question that we have. How often have they been doing it and how many people have disappeared? We remained under the pretext that they have disappeared and yet who knows maybe they might have been fed to the pigs, so this is a very painful thing and that’s why we are here to support and say to the power that be, no bail,” said Farisani.
