Established in September 2022 to alleviate poverty by empowering locals in the film and production industry and fight social ills, Lovechild Media Foundation produces documentary series and short films which highlight the social challenges in the area.

“This summer, we’ll start shooting a 10-part series which will address a number of challenges ranging from Gender-Based Violence, teenage pregnancy, bullying, drugs and alcohol abuse amongst others. We address issues that nobody wants to deal with in a brutally honest way. We aim to sell the series to any of the television networks which will make a good offer for us,” Lovechild Media founder, Shantal Ogle told GLOBE POST.

The Foundation is currently working on its productions without any funding, they have built relations with local businesses to assist them in any way they can.

“We plead with community members, businesses, organisations and well-wishers to partner us so that we can be able to make a positive change in our communities,” Ogle added.
