Ennerdale Extension 9 will host a highly anticipated women’s football tournament on Saturday, 1 March, featuring top local teams battling for supremacy.
The tournament organised by the Deep South Local Football Association will see teams compete in a series of thrilling knockout matches leading up to the finals at 16:20.
The games are scheduled as follows:
- 9:00am – Royalty vs. Mighty
- 10:10am – Young City Girls vs. Blue Knights
- 11:20am – Girls of Hope vs. Panthers
- 12:30pm – VSA SC vs. The Queens
Winners will advance to the semifinals, with the first semi-final kicking off at 13:40 and the second at 14:50. The grand final is set for 16:20, where the tournament champions will be crowned and awarded with various prizes.
Teams are required to arrive at least an hour before their scheduled game. Registration forms and proof of affiliation must be submitted upon arrival. Strict adherence to the tournament rules is expected:
Referee decisions are final. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including violence or bad-mouthing, will not be tolerated. Teams arriving 15 minutes late will start the match at a 1-0 disadvantage. Teams arriving 30 minutes late will begin at 2-0 down, with only the remaining match time played.
