The heated debate around the Phala Phala matter is set to take centre stage as legal and political analysts prepare for a high-profile webinar unpacking the Constitutional Court judgment and its impact on South Africa’s democracy.

Titled “Phala Phala in Focus: Constitutional Processes and What’s Next?”, the online discussion will feature political analyst Lukhona Mnguni, facilitator Nicole Fritz, and analyst Lawson Naidoo.

Organisers say the webinar will explore the legal and constitutional implications of the ruling, political accountability, and what the judgment could mean ahead of the upcoming Local Government Elections.

The virtual event takes place on Wednesday, 20 May at 3pm, with members of the public encouraged to register online.
