GPLA creates vibey entrance to Lenasia South

Many of you may have noticed the decorative wall as you enter Lenasia South, its certainly something you cannot miss. This wall comes as a result of the partnership initiated between Gibson Pillay Learning Academy and the City of Joburg.

The decorative wall is a refreshing site to all those visiting or exiting Lenasia South and it also provides seating if you would like to enjoy the sunshine. The wall is a visual celebration of South Africa’s achievements since it includes images of our famed Springbok Captain, Siya Kolisi as well as one of Gibson Pillay’s Learners posing with President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The front of the wall includes photos of Mr Gibson Pillay, after whom the successful school is named as well. The decorating of this wall coincides with another of Gibson Pillay Learning Academy’s achievements. The school has managed to purchase the Daxina Seva Samaj also known as Kiddies Corner.

CEO, MS Pillay teased that we have exciting plans for this new acquisition but remained tight lipped when quizzed for further comment. The school would also like to extend its gratitude to the City of Joburg as well as parents that have supported us in the school’s two decade history.
