Finetown youth share how they’ll spend their Easter weekend
GLOBE POST’s intern – Lebohange Ndashe – spoke to some youths from Finetown who shared how they will be spending their Easter weekend.
I plan on going to church and spending time with my family before I head to work.
I’m a Jehovah’s Witness, I don’t celebrate holidays even my birthday so this Easter I will be chilling indoors.
This will be like each and every Easter in my family, church and family time.
I will be spending my Easter at church and I haven’t yet figured out what I will be up to afterwards.
I have just relocated to Cape Town, I’m not quite familiar with anyone yet. So, I will try by all means to keep myself busy.
I feel like Covid-19 messed up a lot of traditions, ever since the pandemic started, I haven’t been to church that much and I know for sure that I will be indoors come Easter.
I will be celebrating the Passover at church then I’ll cook and spend time with my family.
I will be in church and will probably attend a night vigil.
I’m excited because Easter is one of my favourite holidays, I will in church from Friday till Sunday.
I don’t have any plans, I will be chilling in the house.
I will be at work this Easter and on Monday I’ll attend a friend’s wedding.
My entire family will be at church and my little sister will be performing.
I wanted to go home this Easter but it’s highly unlikely, so I guess I’ll be indoors watching TV.
GLOBE POST wishes the Christian community a blessed Easter
