Police are searching for suspects linked to a deadly shooting in Eldorado Park that left two people dead and six others injured.
According to the police, the incident occurred on Saturday, 14 March, at around 10:30pm during a social gathering at a local residence: “It is alleged that there was a social gathering in that venue when a group of about eight unknown men entered the yard and started shooting randomly at the people before fleeing the scene on foot,” said Gauteng Police spokesperson, Brig Brenda Muridili.
Paramedics declared two victims dead at the scene, while six others were rushed to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds. Muridili added that no suspects arrested yet and the motive of the shooting is unknown.
