Cassian Van Niekerk has dedicated his life to uplifting his community. Motivated by the lack of positive role models for youth, he has committed himself to mentoring and guiding young people toward bigger goals, helping them believe in their potential.
After completing Bible school at Team Impact Christian University in the USA, Niekerk began by providing small food portions to the elderly. Over time, his efforts grew to supporting hundreds of children, women and men. Through sponsors and community donations, he has distributed sanitary items, clothes, vegetables and bread, organized school transport for children in need and assisted families during funerals.
Cassian’s work also extends to motivational speaking, youth rehabilitation, anti-bullying campaigns, clean-up drives, and agricultural projects to support community gardens. He has hosted workshops with leaders like Pastor Curt Van Heerden to guide parents on preventing child abuse and substance misuse.
He organizes 7-a-side tournaments and creative projects like “Pimp My Bicycle” to engage youth positively. Cassian’s dedication has helped locate missing children and address long-standing community challenges.
Driven by love and passion, he remains on the ground every day, striving to create opportunities, inspire hope and bring smiles to the faces of his community.
