Tsepiso Kiddie’s World Preschool and Tshepiso Ya Lerato Preschool celebrated Mandela Day by giving back to their community through a day filled with kindness, learning and unity.

Learners created handmade gifts and accessories, which they proudly handed out to community members passing by, embracing the spirit of generosity inspired by Nelson Mandela. The children and educators also washed a local scholar transport vehicle as part of their community service efforts.

The day also saw educators sharing their individual talents with one another, while the local library visited the schools to read stories to the children and host engaging educational activities.

Speaking to GLOBE POST, Director of both schools, Agnes Ramosela, said: “This celebration brought joy to the community as a whole. We are in the spirit of unity in our country. May the Lord bless our country.”
