Residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and make a lasting impact this Mandela Day by taking part in a community-driven renovation project at Maranata Hall in Finetown.
The Johannesburg Crisis Alliance (JCA) is calling on volunteers to dedicate 67 minutes of service on Saturday, 18 July, from 9am to 10am, to help paint and renovate the toilets at the community hall.
Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s legacy of selfless service, the initiative aims to improve a well-used public facility while encouraging residents to give back through practical action.
Community members of all ages are encouraged to participate by lending a helping hand and contributing to a cleaner, more welcoming space for everyone.
