Twenty-three talented young dancers from Ennerdale Arts of Dance Studio have earned the honour of representing South Africa at an international dance competition in Thailand, but they need urgent financial support to make their dream a reality.
The group has launched a fundraising campaign to help cover the costs of flights, accommodation, transport and other travel-related expenses. According to the campaign, a total of R400,000 is needed, with approximately R268,000 still to be raised.
The dancers, who have spent countless hours training and preparing for the international stage, are calling on businesses, community organisations, faith-based groups, government stakeholders, alumni, former dancers and members of the public to contribute towards the campaign.
Nicole Koeberg, founder of Art of Dance Studio, said the opportunity means everything to the young performers.
“Being selected to represent South Africa in Thailand is a dream come true for our dancers. They have worked incredibly hard, shown immense dedication and sacrificed so much to reach this level. We are asking our community to stand with these young ambassadors and help us make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to seeing them proudly represent our country on the international stage.”
To boost fundraising efforts, the studio is also hosting a “Road to Thailand” fundraiser, encouraging the community to support the team as they prepare for their international journey.
Donations can be made directly to:
Account Name: Art of Dance NPO
Bank: FNB Gold Business Account

The campaign aims to ensure all 23 dancers can travel to Thailand and proudly showcase South African talent on the world stage.
