Eldorado Park law enforcement officers carried out a series of operations that led to multiple arrests, the seizure of a firearm, and the recovery of a stolen motorbike.

In the first operation, members of SAPS, together with Gauteng Traffic Wardens, arrested a 35-year-old man after a community tip-off alleged he was selling drugs from his home. A search of the premises uncovered a bag containing various drugs, and the suspect was immediately taken into custody.

During a separate operation, officers pursued a suspect who attempted to evade arrest by fleeing into a house and later trying to jump over a wall. The suspect was apprehended and found in possession of a 9mm pistol with 11 rounds of ammunition. He could not produce a valid firearm licence and was also found with drugs and cough syrup suspected to be used illegally. He was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, as well as possession of drugs.

In another incident, police recovered a stolen motorbike from a room in the Mfolo Industrial area following information received from the community.

Authorities said these operations highlight ongoing efforts to target crime and keep communities safe.
