On 12 February, Tsepiso’s Kiddie’s World Preschool and Tshepiso Ya Lerato Preschool marked Valentine’s Day in a unique and meaningful way, moving beyond the usual classroom festivities to create a day filled with learning, talent and community engagement.

Instead of focusing only on traditional celebrations of love and friendship, learners showcased their talents through modelling, dancing and other lively performances.

As part of the programme, the children were taken on an educational visit to a local medical surgery, where they were introduced to a professional working environment and gained early exposure to the corporate world. The learners also toured the local police station, where they learned about safety and the important role police officers play in protecting the community.

Educators from both centres actively participated in the celebrations, entertaining and guiding the children throughout the day. Their involvement helped create a joyful, supportive and educational atmosphere that left a lasting impression on the young learners.

Organisers described the day as a blessing and a great joy in being able to positively touch the lives of children. They extended heartfelt gratitude to God, parents, the community and the dedicated educators for their continued support and commitment.

“Together we are strong. God bless South Africa,” they said, reflecting the spirit of unity and appreciation that made the celebration a memorable success.
