The Lenasia Table Tennis Association (LTTA) is proud to announce a significant achievement in the organisation’s growth: official registration as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO).

This milestone was made possible through the dedication and efforts of treasurer, Dipak Thakordas. LTTA is now formally recognised under Registration Number: 322-927 NPO. This official NPO status strengthens LTTA’s organisational structure and opens new avenues for development, partnerships, and sustainable funding.

It reinforces the commitment to expanding the reach of table tennis, creating inclusive opportunities, and uplifting young talent within the Lenasia community. In addition to this achievement, LTTA is proud to highlight the continued progress of junior athletes. Over the past weekend (24 August 2025), young players participated in their first formal training session hosted in partnership with the Johannesburg Table Tennis Association (JTTA), followed by the second round of league fixtures.

The dedication, enthusiasm and team spirit shown by the juniors reflect a bright future for table tennis in Lenasia.

“Special thanks are extended to Mr Anwar for his valuable guidance and support to the LTTA Core Team during the session – your contribution is sincerely appreciated,” said LTTA.

These developments underscore LTTA’s mission to foster grassroots growth and nurture the next generation of table tennis players through structured, community-focused initiatives. Every parent, coach, volunteer and supporter continues to play a vital role in supporting this vision and laying the foundation for lasting impact.
