At just 24 years old, Odwa Nyeke is fast becoming a recognised name in South Africa’s pageantry world. The dynamic young woman, who hails from Mountainview in Grasmere and works at Ignition Finances, will soon grace the stage as a finalist in the 7th Annual Miss Winter Angels 2025.
Set to take place on 5 July at the Victory Theatre, the prestigious event will showcase finalists who embody elegance, purpose and community spirit – qualities Odwa carries with grace.
Odwa currently holds the title of Mr and Miss E’kasi 2024 Queen and recently earned the Public Choice Award at Miss Grand South Africa 2024. But her influence stretches far beyond crowns and sashes. As the co-founder of the Miss Pre-Teen Mountainview Organisation, she is deeply invested in mentoring and inspiring young girls to dream beyond their circumstances.
Odwa told GLOBE POST: “This journey is so much bigger than me. I’m humbled and blessed to be part of this amazing journey with my beautiful sisters. I’m operating in my purpose and shining together with grace and determination.”
With a strong sense of purpose and a deep love for community development, Odwa represents a new wave of queens- women who are not only beautiful but are also agents of change.
Tickets for the Miss Winter Angels 2025 finale are R350, and supporters are encouraged to come witness Odwa and other finalists shine on one of the biggest stages in the country.
