Mid-Ennerdale’s very own Lehakwe Mphafi (21) is reaching for the stars – and she needs your help to get there.
A passionate and dedicated dancer, Lehakwe has been selected to attend a prestigious dance masterclass at Disney World in Orlando, USA, this December. This once – in – a-lifetime opportunity will see her training with top international choreographers and dancing on the same stage where global legends have performed. But to make her dream a reality, Lehakwe needs to raise R46 000 -and the full amount must be paid by October.
She told Globe Post: “This would mean the world to me. I’ve been dancing since Grade 8 in high school and have performed on stages, including parades and others. Being part of this experience again would be a huge achievement. I just need that push.”
