Finetown Movement Response Team, founded earlier this year by Thabiso Majoe, is making a tangible difference in the community through a variety of impactful programmes aimed at uplifting residents in need.

Among their initiatives is the Small Beginnings programme, which has already helped replace the homes of six families whose houses were tragically destroyed by fires. Additionally, the team runs a Rehabilitation programme, offering support to youth seeking a way out of drug addiction by guiding them to rehabilitation centres.

Their Voice Out programme gives children and families a safe space to speak up about issues such as abuse or domestic challenges, helping to address critical household problems. Moreover, the team received generous sponsorship to bring joy to Finetown’s children this December, providing Christmas gifts and putting smiles on young faces.

Led by Majoe, the team is dedicated to responding swiftly and effectively to the community’s needs. The movement’s success is attributed to the hard work of a dedicated team that includes Joe Chabalala, Dumisani Maguga, Thokozani Batshise, Kim Majoe, Nthabiseng Mokoena, Rethabile Mokoena, Edward Lekgetho, Dineo Mokoena, Mzwandile Mkhontwana, Sthembiso, Johannes Matsebula, and Mbuyiselo Mvimbi.
