Lenasia South and Ennerdale SAPS join stakeholders in prayers for road safety
On 20 November, a united front of law enforcement agencies, faith leaders, and community members came together at the Magson Manor robots in Lenasia South for a Safer Festive Season Prayer.
The event, led by the Lenasia South and Ennerdale SAPS, CPF, Crime Prevention Wardens and JMPD, saw local pastors and residents joining forces to seek divine protection and blessings for the upcoming holiday season.
The primary focus of the prayer was to ensure safety on the roads, calling for an end to accidents, hijackings and other crimes during this often-hectic period. The gathering reflected a shared commitment to fostering peace and safety in the community.
Lenasia South SAPS Station Commander, Colonel Xaba, encouraged vigilance and wished all residents a safe and joyous festive season.
The event served as a poignant reminder of the power of collective action and faith in building a safer society. As the festive season begins, the community’s proactive approach sends a strong message of unity and resilience against crime and road dangers.
