In a spirited display of sportsmanship and community spirit, Laura Vicuna [Don Bosco Ennerdale] and Poseidon Primary School, Ennerdale, came together on 14 August for an exciting Eco-Sports Day. The event saw learners from both schools competing fiercely in netball and soccer, with Poseidon Primary School emerging as the dominant force.

The netball match was a showcase of skill and teamwork, with Poseidon securing a decisive victory by 26 to 4.

In the soccer match, both schools battled it out with determination, resulting in a goalless draw at the end of regular time. The tension was palpable as the match went to penalties, where Poseidon once again proved their mettle winning the shootout 4-0.

This Eco-Sports Day not only highlighted the athletic talents of the students but also underscored the importance of friendly competition and environmental awareness.
