Suspect arrested for attempting to sell unlicensed firearms in Lenasia

Members of Lenasia SAPS and the Wardens apprehended a male suspect based following information that he was attempting to sell a rifle and a pistol.

The suspect was found in possession of a black rifle with a magazine containing live ammunition. Additionally, a 9mm pistol without a serial number, along with a magazine holding 19 live rounds, was recovered from him.

The suspect is detained on charges of unlawful possession of firearms (two) and unlawful possession of live ammunition (142 rounds).
