Growing up in the small Township of Emondlo in Kwa Zulu Natal, Ayanda Buthelezi, known as Nandi, had a childhood filled with soccer and a passion for sport commentating.
During her high school years, drama acting became another interest. Despite her initial focus on soccer, destiny had different plans for Ayanda as her innate beauty led her towards a modeling career. Relocating to Finetown marked a pivotal moment in Ayanda’s life.
The lack of support for modeling in her early environment only fuelled her determination to thrive in the industry. Recognizing the potential of modeling to shape her individuality and open doors for personal growth, Ayanda embraced the opportunities it presented.
Recently, Ayanda ventured into the Miss Finetown 2023 competition, emerging as a finalist. She envisions this platform as the breakthrough she has long desired. Looking forward, Ayanda harbors aspirations to collaborate with renowned figures in the modeling world such as Alex Binaris, Nina Miner, Zozibini Tunzi and Chane Husselmann.
In the realm of acting, she dreams of working alongside Connie Ferguson, Hlomla Dandala and Nomzamo Mbatha.
Gazing into the future, Ayanda envisions herself starring in national telenovelas and gracing international runways for renowned fashion brands within the next five years. Her goal is to leave an indelible mark on the entertainment industry, creating a legacy that resonates with audiences worldwide.
