The Human Rights Day Competition saw young football talent shine as four U13 teams battled for glory in a thrilling tournament.
Hosted at Hazulu Ground, Phase 1, Ext 9 on Friday, the competition followed a Round Robin format, featuring: Stretford Young Tigers FC Team A; Positive Living People FC; Drieziek Lions FC; Stretford Young and Tigers FC Team B.
Each team showcased their skills in a series of closely contested matches, with results as follows:

After a competitive round of fixtures, Positive Living People FC (5 points) and Drieziek Lions FC (4 points) emerged as the top two teams, earning a spot in the grand final.
The much-anticipated final took place on Saturday at Solwazi Ground, Drieziek 5. Both teams stepped onto the field with determination, but it was Positive Living People FC who dominated, securing a 2-0 victory over Drieziek Lions FC. Positive Living People FC U13 were crowned champions of the Human Rights Day Competition.
Their victory was rewarded with a R500 cash prize, while runners-up Drieziek Lions FC received silver medals for their outstanding performance. The tournament not only provided an exciting showcase of young football talent but also highlighted the spirit of sportsmanship and competition among the teams.
