After nearly eight years of rescuing and removing snakes across Johannesburg, Lenasia South resident Yaseen Conradie has officially become a certified snake handler.
Conradie recently completed a professional snake handling course through Access Professional Development, earning certification that further strengthens his commitment to wildlife rescue and community safety.
Operating throughout Lenasia, Lenasia South and surrounding areas, Conradie has built a strong reputation for safely removing snakes from homes, schools and public spaces. He also manages a growing WhatsApp snake call-out group with more than 900 members, including handlers from various parts of Johannesburg who assist in covering different communities.
Conradie says the initiative is aimed at protecting both residents and snakes by ensuring safe removals and preventing unnecessary harm to wildlife.
Residents requiring snake removal or assistance can contact Yaseen Conradie on 065 696 9940.
