On Saturday, 7 March, Safe Haven came alive with elegance, laughter, and heartfelt connection as guests gathered for a beautiful High Tea event that brought together friends, supporters, and members of the community for an afternoon to remember.

The venue was filled with charm as guests arrived dressed stylishly in the event’s theme of pink and denim, creating a vibrant and snazzy atmosphere. Tables were set with delicious treats while guests enjoyed cocktails, coffee, tea, and a delightful spread of food. Throughout the afternoon, the space echoed with cheerful conversations, shared laughter, and the joyful energy of people simply enjoying the moment together.

The programme for the day was both inspiring and entertaining. Special guest speakers Jo-Anne and Lady Natalie shared meaningful words that resonated deeply with those in attendance. Adding to the heartfelt atmosphere, Lady Natalie’s daughter, Keara, performed a beautiful item that captivated the audience.

The celebration also featured energetic dance performances by the RCCC Church dancers, bringing excitement and vibrancy to the room. Ladies of Hope CEO, Myrtle delivered an uplifting motivational message that encouraged and inspired everyone present.

One of the most touching highlights of the day came from the girls of the Safe Haven house, who proudly presented a special performance of their own. The audience was also treated to a powerful rap performance by Anastasia, a young woman who previously completed the Safe Haven programme. Her performance left the room in awe as guests enthusiastically joined in and supported her moment on stage.

Guests also enjoyed the excitement of a raffle draw, adding an element of fun and anticipation to the afternoon.

Overall, the High Tea was a truly blessed occasion where smiles were abundant, friendships were strengthened, and unforgettable memories were created. It was a day filled with inspiration, celebration, and a strong sense of community.

Safe Haven extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make the event such a success. Your presence, generosity, and positive energy made the day incredibly special. It was a gathering that will be remembered with deep appreciation for years to come.
