The Lenasia Table Tennis Association (LTTA) is seeking public support as it prepares to send a team of talented junior and senior players to the National Table Tennis Tournament in Durban during the first week of October 2025.

A total of nine junior players and five senior players have been selected. The LTTA is appealing for assistance with the R42,000 required to cover travel, accommodation, food, and related expenses for the junior athletes, ensuring every player, regardless of financial background, can participate.

Vikash Kasan, chairperson of the LTTA, said:”We are proud of the talent within our club. This national tournament is a vital platform for experience and exposure, but the financial costs are significant. We hope the public can help make this opportunity a reality for these hardworking athletes.”

The LTTA invites support from individuals, businesses, and organisations through financial sponsorship or in-kind contributions. Sponsors will be acknowledged on social media and at the event.

“With the right support, our players will proudly represent Lenasia and inspire future generations of table tennis enthusiasts,” added Kasan.

About LTTA: The LTTA is a community-based organisation dedicated to developing table tennis talent from grassroots to national competition, providing opportunities for athletes to compete, learn and excel.

For contributions or more information, please call Vikash Kasan on 082 495 9157.

Donations can be made to: Standard Bank, account name: Lenasia Table Tennis Association, account no: 081566980, type: Current, reference: your name/business name + LTTA DBN.
